The security of your identity is our primary concern!

We have designed the resume database so that no one can get your resume without your consent, and you are in complete control of who gets to see who you are or have access to your resume.

There are two levels of confidentiality built into the resume building engine. Synopsis Only, and All Visible. You choose between these levels on the Profile section of the resume as you can see below.

If your resume is set to Synopsis Only, (this is the default setting), then employers will only get to see a synopsis of your resume when they search for you. The system builds the synopsis for you and it includes the following information.

1. Executive Summary
2. Objective (if it exists)
3. Previous Job Titles - But not the companies or locations that you have worked.
4. Degrees that you hold and from which Schools
5. # of years of total experience in Management, Executive Management Etc...

It does not include any personal information about you or the location that you live. The synopsis is designed to intrigue the employer based on their search criterion. When an employer likes your synopsis and wishes to read your resume or be introduced to you, they will send you a message over the HigherBracket network that will show up in your My HigherBracket section.

You decide to share your identity and resume. You are 100% in control of your data.

If your resume confidentiality level is set to All Visible then employers can see your resume right away, and we will send you notification that your resume has been viewed. This is the preferred method if you are in an active job search.

As always we are here to answer any questions that you may have in regards to the resume database and our commitment to your privacy. Remember, we are built for the job seeker, not the employer.
